Cristiano Façanha

Cristiano Façanha is a transportation engineer with 15 years of experience in the transportation industry. He is an expert in the design and evaluation of emission reduction strategies and policies, and emissions modelling. At his current role at the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT), he leads a technical team responsible for the development and use of national and global emission inventory models. He also leads ICCT’s initiatives in Brazil, aiming to support the development of policies to reduce emissions from the transportation sector. Façanha holds a Doctoral Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Masters of Science Degree in Transportation Management from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.
