Sungwon Lee is an economist who has worked extensively in the areas of transportation economics and environment. His main research interests include economic and econometric analysis of policy measures' effectiveness, estimation of environmental values, transport and logistics infrastructure investment and climate change policies in transport. Lee is currently the Vice President of the Korea Transport Institute (KOTI) which is a government affiliated research institution in Korea. His previous positions include the Advisor to the Minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Director of KOTI’s Center for Logistics, Transport Economics and Northeast Asian Transport Studies and Senior Research Fellow at OECD in Paris. He holds a Doctoral Degree in Economics from the Pennsylvania State University, USA.
